Convergent would like to announce the addition of Matt Kopp, new Senior VP of Engineering

The team here at Convergent would like to welcome the addition of Matthew Kopp, our new Senior Vice President of Engineering.  Matt is a highly skilled and motivated IT professional who brings with him fifteen years of experience in sales, management, and implementation roles.  Throughout his career, Matt has continuously proven his strengths in supporting clients during the designing, planning and implementation of complex infrastructure initiatives.

Prior to Convergent, Matt served as the Solutions Account Manager at MTM Technologies, Inc., a leading national provider of innovative, next-generation, IT solutions designed to empower the modern organization and the users.  During his tenure at MTM Technologies, Inc., Matt oversaw the project team which designed and implemented global IT infrastructure for a company at 16 different locations spread amongst 3 different continents.  He has extensive experience in developing technology strategies, data center infrastructure, desktop, server and application virtualization as well as cloud solutions.

During his time at MTM Technologies Inc., Matt was awarded the Circle of Excellence Award and consistently met or exceeded his goals.

Prior to his time at MTM Technologies, Inc., Matt served as an Account Manager for Alliant Technologies, LLC., from 2008 to 2010 and as the Owner and Operator for NetworxPlus, LLC., from 2004 to 2008.
